Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Phytoventures Ltd for using PlexaRP: what you can expect from us, what we expect from you, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Last updated 11 October 2026
What changed
- RPP+ (section 12a): one price, £19.99 a month, renewing monthly through Tebex with no minimum term. How to cancel, the reminder we send before each renewal, and your 14-day right to cancel.
- Tebex is the only way to pay. The old card checkout on the UCP, PayPal and Telegram Stars are closed.
- New section 14a on keeping people safe, reporting content, complaints and appeals, as the Online Safety Act 2023 requires.
- Section 14 now says which penalties our systems apply automatically and how a person reviews them.
- Fairer terms on changes to the Service and to these Terms (30 days’ notice of significant changes), on your content (you keep ownership), and on your legal rights.
- Section 3 describes how age checks work today.
1. About us
Who runs PlexaRP, and what these Terms cover.
PlexaRP is run by Phytoventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16388003), with its registered office at Belmont Suite, Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, England, BL6 6HG (“we”, “us”, “our”).
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) cover your use of PlexaRP. That means our Grand Theft Auto V roleplay servers on the FiveM (Cfx.re) platform, including our English and Balkan servers; our websites, including plexarp.com, the UCP (ucp.plexarp.com and bucp.plexarp.com), Lifeinvader, Backstage, Rigged, the wiki, Zombiez and the bug portal; our Discord and Telegram bots; the developer API; our forums; and our support channels (together, the “Service”).
You accept these Terms when you create an account, or, if you use the Service without an account, when you use it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Server Rules, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy also apply. You can save or print these Terms from this page at any time.
2. Important notices
Some things the law does not let us exclude, and we do not try to.
The Service is a game, provided for entertainment.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these Terms cannot take away. Section 16 explains them.
3. Who can use the Service
You must be 18 or over. We do not ask for ID to join, but we will ask for an age check if we have reason to think someone is under 18.
You may use the Service only if:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you can enter into a binding contract; and
- you follow these Terms, the Server Rules and the law.
The Service includes mature roleplay and is not for children. When you sign up, and when you first visit our website, we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or over. We do not ask for ID at that point.
Age checks. If we have reason to think an account may belong to someone under 18, or the law requires it, we will ask the account holder to complete an age check before they can carry on using the Service. We use an identity-verification provider, Didit, for this. You can also choose to verify your age at any time. Once we have asked for a check, staff cannot remove the request. If Didit declines you and you think that is wrong, email [email protected]. A person will look at your case, arrange another way for you to prove your age where possible, and reply within 14 days. More detail is at plexarp.com/age-verification and in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and refund the unused part of any RPP+ month they have paid for.
4. No affiliation with Rockstar, Take-Two or Cfx.re
We are an independent community, not an official Rockstar or Cfx.re product.
PlexaRP is an independent, unofficial community project. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, Cfx.re (FiveM) or RAGEMP. Your use of FiveM is also covered by Cfx.re’s own terms, which you accept directly with Cfx.re. All third-party names and trade marks belong to their owners.
How we follow the Cfx.re rules on payments, currencies, chance-based items and trading is explained at plexarp.com/compliance.
5. Changes to the Service
The game changes often. We will tell you about big changes that affect what you pay for.
PlexaRP is a live game. To keep it working, fair and legal, we regularly add, change and remove features, rebalance the economy, fix bugs and run maintenance. Sometimes that means resetting or changing characters, items, money, progression or rankings, for example to undo an exploit.
We will tell you in advance, where we reasonably can, about changes that significantly affect RPP+ or other paid features. If a change means RPP+ is significantly worse for you, you can cancel and we will refund the unused part of your current month. We may suspend parts of the Service without notice where we need to for security, safety, legal reasons or urgent repairs.
6. Accounts and access
Keep your account secure. You are responsible for what happens on it.
You need an account to play. You must:
- give accurate information and keep it up to date;
- keep your password, two-factor codes and passkeys to yourself;
- not share, sell or lend your account; and
- tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
You are responsible for what happens on your account, unless it happened because we did not take reasonable care. We may refuse a registration, reclaim a username or ask you to prove you own an account where we reasonably need to for security, legal or moderation reasons.
7. Your licence to use the Service
You can play and enjoy the Service. You cannot copy it, hack it or cheat.
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own entertainment while you follow these Terms. You must not, except where the law allows:
- copy, sell or commercially exploit any part of the Service;
- reverse engineer, decompile or extract our code or assets;
- get around our security, anti-cheat, rate limits or moderation tools;
- use cheats, bots, macros, scrapers or unauthorised third-party software; or
- use the Service to build a competing product.
8. Rules of conduct
Follow the Server Rules and treat people decently.
You must follow the Server Rules, the rules of our Discord and forums, and reasonable instructions from staff. In particular, you must not:
- cheat, exploit bugs, duplicate items or money, or evade anti-cheat (see section 12f);
- evade a ban, or use other accounts to get around a restriction;
- harass, threaten, dox, stalk or impersonate anyone;
- share illegal content, or content that is hateful, sexual where the rules do not allow it, or infringes someone’s rights (see section 14a);
- trade items, points or accounts for real money (see section 12e);
- advertise other servers or services without our written permission;
- try to get into our servers, databases, staff tools or accounts that are not yours; or
- use the Service for anything unlawful.
We investigate suspected breaches using the records described in our Privacy Policy, such as logs, reports, screenshots, anti-cheat data and connection records.
9. Your content
You own what you create. You give us permission to host and show it in the Service, and to moderate it.
“Your content” means anything you post or upload in the Service: character names and stories, chat, posts, images, messages, reports, tickets and so on. You are responsible for it, and you confirm you have the right to share it.
You keep ownership of your content. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, show and moderate it in the Service for as long as it is on the Service, and afterwards to keep the copies we need for moderation, legal reasons and backups. If we want to use your content in our own promotion outside the Service, for example a trailer, we will ask you first, except for screenshots and clips of public gameplay in the city. Tell us if you want yours left out and we will not use them in future promotion.
You can reuse your own original ideas, such as your character’s story, elsewhere, but not our names, logos, lore or assets. We may remove or restrict content that breaks these Terms or the rules, as section 14 explains.
10. Feedback
If you send us ideas, we can use them.
If you send us suggestions, bug reports or other feedback, we may use them to improve the Service without paying you. This does not give us ownership of anything else you create.
11. Our intellectual property
The Service, its code and its branding belong to us or our licensors.
Everything that makes up the Service, including our code, systems, databases, maps, models, artwork, interfaces, lore, names and logos, belongs to Phytoventures Ltd or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any rights in it apart from the licence in section 7.
12. Virtual items and currencies
In-game items, points and money have no real-world value. You hold a licence to use them, and we can change them.
The Service includes virtual items and currencies: RP points (“RPP”), Bones, in-game cash, Zombiez Armoury items and cases, vehicles, properties and other items (“Virtual Items”). The only thing you can buy with real money is the RPP+ subscription (section 12a).
- Virtual Items have no real-world value and can never be cashed out or exchanged for real money.
- You hold a licence to use Virtual Items in the Service. You do not own them.
- Virtual Items stay in the Service. You may trade them only in game, where the game allows it (section 12d).
- We may change, rebalance or remove Virtual Items as the game develops (section 5).
How we follow the Cfx.re rules for virtual items is explained at plexarp.com/compliance.
12a. RPP+
£19.99 a month through Tebex. Renews monthly until you cancel. No minimum term. Cancel any time and keep your perks until the end of the month you paid for.
What it is. RPP+ is an optional monthly membership. What it includes, including the advantages it gives, is listed at plexarp.com/rpp-plus. Everything else in the city is free.
How you pay. RPP+ is sold only through our store on Tebex. Tebex Limited runs the checkout and takes the payment, and Tebex’s checkout terms apply to the payment as well as these Terms. We supply RPP+ to your account and are responsible for it. We do not take payment in any other way: the old card checkout on the UCP, PayPal and Telegram Stars are all closed. If anyone asks you to pay for anything connected with PlexaRP outside Tebex, it is not us. Our Tebex store is not open yet. Until it opens, RPP+ cannot be bought.
Price and renewal. RPP+ costs £19.99 a month, including VAT. Tebex charges you when you subscribe and then every month on the same date until you cancel. There is no minimum term.
Reminder before each renewal. About 3 days before each monthly payment, we email you to say when it will be taken, how much it will be, and how to cancel. Tebex also emails you a receipt for every payment.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time, in one step, from the cancel link in your Tebex receipt email or on Tebex’s payment history page. You can also ask us to cancel it for you through a support ticket or by emailing [email protected]. After you cancel you will not be charged again, and your perks carry on until the end of the month you have already paid for.
Your 14-day right to cancel. The law usually gives you 14 days from your first payment to cancel and get a refund. RPP+ is digital content that starts as soon as you pay. At checkout we ask you to confirm that you want it to start straight away and that you understand you will then lose your 14-day right to cancel. We cannot sell RPP+ without that confirmation. We keep a record of it, and when your subscription starts we email you a confirmation of the price, the renewal, how to cancel and that choice. If the law treats your purchase as a service rather than digital content, you can still cancel within 14 days of your first payment, and we will refund you minus a fair amount for the days you have already had. Renewals do not restart the 14 days.
Refunds. Apart from the cases in this section and your other legal rights (section 16), payments are not refundable once your perks have started. If RPP+ does not work as described, tell us and we will fix it, or refund you where the law says we must. If we close your account for a reason other than a serious or repeated breach of these Terms or the rules, we will refund the unused part of your current month.
Price changes. If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price applies to you, with the reason. You can cancel before then and will not pay the new price.
RPP+ bought before 11 October 2026. RPP+ bought through the old UCP card checkout, Telegram Stars or a gift was a one-off period that does not renew. It ends on the date shown on your RPP+ page in the UCP.
Chargebacks and fraud. If you reverse a payment without a valid reason, we may suspend RPP+ or your account until it is resolved. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or a pricing or technical error, and we will refund anything taken for a cancelled order.
12b. RP points and Bones
RP points and Bones are earned by playing. They are never sold and cannot be cashed out.
RP points are earned only by playing, for example through play time, daily tasks, achievements, session check-ins, Standing rewards and events. Bones are the Zombiez currency and are earned only by playing Zombiez. Neither is ever sold for real money, and neither can be cashed out. We may change how they are earned and spent.
12c. Zombiez items, cases, insurance and loss
Zombiez cases are earned and free to open. What you buy with RP points is fixed and shown in full.
Cases. Zombiez Armoury cases are earned only by playing Zombiez and are always free to open. There are no keys. Cases cannot be traded, listed, crafted or bought. Case odds are shown on the case screen, and every opening is provably fair as described at plexarp.com/compliance.
Buying with RP points. In Zombiez you can spend RP points on Black Market items, match insurance and weekly bundles. Each is a fixed, named item with its full stats shown before you buy. Nothing you pay for is random. Items you buy have a 7-day trade hold.
Item loss. Special weapons and melee weapons you carry in a Zombiez match are kept unless your team is wiped. Your secure slot and match insurance protect items against that loss. A server restart never costs you items.
12d. Trading and the Market
Trading happens in game, for items and RP points, with limits that stop abuse.
Trading and the Market are in game only, and only for items and RP points:
- the Market takes a 5% fee;
- there is a daily cap on the RP points you can move by trade;
- items you receive have a 24-hour hold, and items bought with RP points have a 7-day trade hold;
- Zombiez Armoury cases cannot be traded or listed; and
- trades between accounts we link to the same person are blocked. We link accounts using their FiveM licence identifiers and IP addresses in current and 90-day login history.
We may block, cancel or reverse a trade or listing that breaks these Terms or relies on an exploit.
12e. Real-money trading
Selling items, RP points or accounts for real money is banned and leads to a ban.
Buying or selling items, RP points, in-game money or accounts for real money is banned, wherever the deal is arranged. It leads to a ban, and we may remove what was traded. We use the item ledger, trade and Market records and linked-account checks described in our Privacy Policy to investigate.
12f. Duplication and exploits
If you find a way to copy items or money, report it and do not use it.
You must not create or duplicate items, RP points or money through bugs or exploits, or knowingly receive or keep anything made that way. Report exploits through the bug portal or a support ticket. Anything obtained through an exploit may be removed, including from accounts it has moved to, and trades involving it may be reversed. Abusing or sharing an exploit can lead to a ban.
12g. Retired features
Features we have retired are gone.
We retired trading cards and lucky spins (including the Lucky Wheel) at 04:00 UK time on 6 October 2026, and the Mystery Crate in the RP points store on the same day. Nothing in this section affects your legal rights.
13. Service availability
We work hard to keep the city running, but games have outages and bugs.
We provide the Service with reasonable care and skill, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of bugs. Downtime, lag, crashes and lost progress can happen. You are responsible for your own device, internet connection and a legal copy of Grand Theft Auto V.
14. Moderation and penalties
What we can do when rules are broken, which penalties our systems apply on their own, and how a person reviews them.
If you break these Terms or the rules, we may, depending on how serious it is:
- warn, mute, kick or jail you in game;
- remove or restrict content, characters, items, money or access;
- suspend or ban your account, temporarily or permanently;
- block linked accounts, identifiers or IP addresses used to evade a ban; and
- report conduct to the police or other authorities where the law requires or allows it.
Who decides. Most penalties are decided by a member of staff. A few are applied automatically by our systems, without a person deciding first:
- Item hand-backs between accounts. If an item is handed back within 7 days between two different accounts, our system treats it as moving items between your own accounts. On the second offence it jails your character for 3 hours and removes the item. On the third it bans the account permanently.
- Discord moderation. Messages our tool scores as very likely abusive are deleted, and the sender may be timed out for up to 60 minutes.
- Sign-up and login checks. Connections from VPNs, proxies and data centres may be blocked, and our firewall may block addresses that look like an attack.
- Applications. Some faction, starter and allowance applications in our Discord are decided by an automated assistant when it is confident enough, and some are approved automatically.
- Reports and tickets. An automated assistant may answer first and may close a report if you do not reply within 10 minutes. You can reopen it.
Human review. A person reviews any of these decisions if you appeal (section 14a), and staff can reverse any automated action.
Evidence. We may not be able to share all our evidence or methods, for example where that would help people cheat or would reveal other people’s personal data, but you can always appeal under section 14a.
Closing accounts. We may close an account straight away for a serious or repeated breach. If we close your account for any other reason, we will give you reasonable notice where we can and refund the unused part of any RPP+ month. If your account is closed or banned, you may lose access to its characters, items and content.
14a. Safety, reports, complaints and appeals
How we keep illegal and harmful content out, how to report something, and how to complain or appeal a decision.
Illegal content. You must not share illegal content anywhere in the Service. That includes child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, threats, intimate images shared without consent, fraud and hate offences. We remove illegal content when we find it or it is reported to us. We ban the accounts involved where that is appropriate, and we report it to the police, the Internet Watch Foundation or the National Crime Agency where the law requires or allows it.
Sexual content. Erotic roleplay is allowed only in the private settings the Server Rules permit, and only between adults who agree to it. Anything involving minors, real or fictional, is banned outright and reported.
How we find harmful content. Staff review reports from players. We also use automated tools that flag content for staff and, in the cases listed in section 14, act on their own:
- a tool that scores messages for abuse in private messages (/pm), some out-of-character chat (/b), the Zombiez lobby and our Discord servers;
- an assistant that sorts incoming reports and tickets and may answer first; and
- anti-cheat and connection checks, described in our Privacy Policy.
Reporting. You can report content or a player in game with /report, on the UCP at ucp.plexarp.com/support/new, in a support ticket in our Discord, or by emailing [email protected]. You do not need an account to email us.
Appeals. If we warn, jail, ban or character-kill you, you can appeal on the UCP at ucp.plexarp.com/appeals. For anything else, such as removed content, a Discord timeout or any automated decision, open a support ticket or email us. This is how appeals work today:
- The appeal first goes to the member of staff who made the decision. If no person made it, for example an automated ban, any member of staff can review it.
- If they turn it down, you can escalate it once to senior management, who were not involved in the original decision.
- We aim to answer an appeal within 16 working days, and an escalation within 30 days. We tell you the outcome and the reason by email and on the UCP.
- If an appeal succeeds, we lift the penalty and restore what we reasonably can.
Complaints. You can complain to us about content on the Service, about how we handled a report, about a decision we made about you, or about how we meet our duties under the Online Safety Act 2023. Use a support ticket, or email [email protected]. A person reads every complaint. We will acknowledge it and tell you what we have done.
15. Third-party services
Some parts of the Service rely on other companies, whose own terms also apply.
The Service relies on third parties such as Cfx.re, Discord, Telegram, Tebex and our hosting and security providers. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use their services. We are not responsible for their services, outages or actions, except where we are responsible under the law.
16. Your legal rights
If you are a consumer, the law protects you, and nothing here takes that away.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to the Service and RPP+, including that digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and that services must be provided with reasonable care and skill. If something is not right, you may be entitled to a repair, a replacement, a price reduction or a refund. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights. Citizens Advice (citizensadvice.org.uk) can tell you more.
17. Limitation of liability
What we are and are not responsible for, within what the law allows.
Section 2 applies to everything in this section.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these Terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious it will happen, or if we and you both knew it might happen when you accepted these Terms. We are not responsible for business losses, because the Service is for personal use.
We are not responsible for loss caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as attacks on our servers or failures of third-party platforms, or for the actions of other players.
If you use the Service for business, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £100 and what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
18. Indemnity
If you misuse the Service for business and it costs us money, you may have to cover it.
If you use the Service in the course of business, you agree to cover our losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your content or your breach of the law. If you are a consumer, you are responsible to us only for losses caused by your breach of these Terms, as far as the law allows.
19. Privacy
How we use your personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, including what we record while you play, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and your rights.
20. Confidentiality and investigations
Do not leak staff tools or exploits. We may keep and share information to protect people.
You must not share or misuse non-public parts of the Service, such as staff channels, internal tools, anti-cheat methods or unfixed vulnerabilities. We may keep and disclose information where we reasonably need to, to run and secure the Service, investigate breaches, protect people, meet a legal obligation or deal with legal claims, as our Privacy Policy explains.
21. Changes to these Terms
We will tell you about significant changes at least 30 days ahead.
We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, the law or how we run things. For changes that affect you significantly, we will tell you at least 30 days before they take effect, by email or on the UCP, and we will show what changed at the top of this page. Smaller changes, such as corrections, take effect when we publish them.
If you do not accept a change, you can stop using the Service and close your account. If you have RPP+, you can cancel before the change takes effect and we will refund the unused part of your current month.
22. Transfer
If the business changes hands, these Terms can go with it.
We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation, for example if the business is sold. We will tell you, and your rights will not be reduced. You may not transfer your rights or obligations without our written permission.
23. Severability and waiver
If one part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
If a court decides part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we can still enforce it later.
24. Entire agreement
These Terms and the documents they mention are the whole agreement.
These Terms, together with the Server Rules, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and anything else they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
25. Governing law and courts
English law applies. You can go to court where you live in the UK.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
If you use the Service for business, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
